Now when this crash happened today last reboot I had open Palemoon, a couple of folders, Gwenview and cmus in Terminal. It seemed to work and I made sure to keep everything up to date then a couple of days after that I got the same kind of system freeze. I upgraded everything using sudo pacman -Syyu. I rolled back and waited a few days to see if there was a faulty package or something that made my system unstable. I switched linux and manjaro-release and edited them away sometimes to check if the option crashed against each other. I used different combination of: IgnorePkg = linux linux-headers linux-api-headers manjaro-release I excluded linux packages in IgnoreGroup and IgnonrePkg in /etc/nf. ![]() I tried for a partial upgrade despite it being warned against. I had Timeshift for backups so there were no problems. My computer froze approx a few hours after post system upgrade and restart. A period after that I upgraded the system using sudo pacman -Syu and about 500+ upgrades were installed. Some time after that I installed Manjaro 22.1.2 and finally everything worked perfectly. There were no hardware defects nor problems. I then got my PC to a repair shop to have it checked. I have previously used Ubuntu 20.04 and I had the same type of problem.
